»Les Adrets« – France

The Gyumri Biennial 2008 was the beginning of their joint work as a trio. For an exhibition-workshop-performance-concert project in Les Adrets near Grenoble in 2011, Vazo invited, in addition to Trio27, the musicians of BAMBIR and Armenian artists friends to present their work and to develop something new together.

»Abbaye de Valcroissant« – France

One year later, in 2012, we showed new works in the castle of Valcroissant near the town of Die in the south of France. During a performance in the castle church, Dietmar, together with the Moscow violinist Alexei Aigui, played Peter’s recently completed sound sculpture quintet »Boyz«.

»Galerie Lange« – Siegburg, Germany

Our catalog TRIO+ was published by the Cologne gallery owner Christel Schüppenhauer. For the catalog presentation she organized a large exhibition in 2015 in the Siegburg gallery Lange in a converted waterworks. On two floors we showed duo and trio works and a Liquid Image image/sound installation. For the vernissage, Dietmar’s composition »Chronotopia« was performed on Peter’s sound sculptures by a quintet of Cologne musicians. In the context of the exhibition we showed first sketches of our new project »The Well« as a preview.

»Café Voltaire« – Die, France

In 1916, the Dada movement began in Zurich’s Cabaret Voltaire. For the100th birthday anniversary, Vazo and Dietmar staged in 2016 a performance at the Café Voltaire in Die. In 2017 we continued the project at the same place with a small exhibition and joint Dadaist actions with befriended French artists.

»Galerie 25« – Gyumri, Armenia

In 2019 we returned to the birthplace of our trio. In Gyumri, Armenia, we showed a retrospective of our more than a decade-long collaboration in Gallery 25 with the support of the Goethe Institute. At the same time this was the starting point for our current project „Romanesque“ about the Romanesque churches of Cologne and the Armenian monasteries that were built at the same time.
